Bonnie Cove Trail is off of Bonnie Cove Avenue in Glendora. There is a parking area there and you can either take the Bonnie Cove West Trail or the Bonnie Cove East Trail which is what we did. Before heading up check the box for a map courtesy of Glendora Rotary.
The Bonnie Cove East Trail is a dirt path. I loved seeing the cactus on the side of the hills. Be prepared for lots of stops since you or child will want to enjoy the view as you make your way to the top.
Once you get to the Access Road there are more shady spots. We eat our snacks and have some water before we keep going.

You can even let your little one walk around. Warning though it took us forever to walk cause he wanted to collect each and every rock and put them in his pocket!
The view from the top is beautiful! You can either come back down the same way you came, or if you pack lunch climb to the other side of the hill to South Hills Park each lunch and then hike back.
There are so many little trails to discover at South Hills Glendora that you can go a dozen times and explore a new surroundings.
