We were invited to experience Bricks 4 Kidz in Los Angeles. I have previously heard of them and was really excited for my boys to experience and for me to write about. The location for the event was Adventure Playground, but Bricks 4 Kidz has many locations in the United States. If you have an event they can come to you. One of the centers they had was a bag full of LEGO's. With an instructor the kids just created anything they wanted. As you can see from what I call "concentration cheeks" my boys were really into it. The instructor was very helpful in giving ideas and praising them for their creations. He was patient with my toddler and had great open ended questions for the kids while teaching how things work and facts.
Each class has two instructors and each child receives a LEGO set with a tablet for instructions. The kids use the tablet to build their LEGO set and the instructors talk about how things work, facts, and help the kids build if they need any.
For little ones they would build with DUPLO and they would build an alligator then the teachers would teach phonics with Ally Alligator and facts about alligators.
Bricks 4 Kidz will work around your birthday theme. For example if you are having a princess and pirates theme they will bring LEGO sets to build a pirate ship. I love that these activities keep kids engaged and wait until you see the look on their faces when they complete the set .
