The holidays are coming and with the weather getting cold we are spending more and more time inside with the family playing board games and watching movies.  A favorite recipe that I make to get my family into the holiday spirit is Christmas Pancake Snowballs.  These are really easy to make with the Aunt Jemima products and you can even freeze them.  We have them for breakfast and even dessert.  I once made these for a potluck at my work and people were going crazy over them.

  • Aunt Jemima Pancake mix - your choice which you like best
  • Aunt Jemima Syrup
  • Powdered Sugar

Cooking time 20 minutes.

Fix mix the batter as per Aunt Jemima Pancake mix instructions.  The one I picked was the complete mix so that it saves time for me.

Butter your pancake puff pan.  If you do not have a pancake puff pan you can use a muffin pan and cook in the oven at 375 degrees for about 12 minutes.

As the pancake is cooking add your favorite toppings.  I add a heavy dollop of Aunt Jemima Syrup.

If using the pancake puff pan flip the pancakes after adding your topping.

Decorate your plate using the Aunt Jemima syrup.  I made a snowflake design on mine and placed the pancake balls in a stack.

Dust powdered sugar on top and they are ready to enjoy!   Be careful as you are making these cause you want to keep eating them yourself!  Remember they are for sharing!

Where can you get these products?  I went to Walmart under the breakfast aisle.  The pancake mix and syrup are all together in the same location.

What topping would you put inside your pancake snowball?
