I was invited by Braun to see a demonstration of their new No Touch + Forehead Thermometer. Unlike other thermometers, this one can give you a reading without touching the forehead in under 2 seconds! The features on this small and very easy to use unit are amazing and let me tell you, they thought of everything! I especially love this as a mother of a special needs child. Children on the spectrum sometimes don't understand the reason for things being stuck in their ears or to sit still for several seconds. Even worse if you are using an old school thermometer, the concept of "under" your tongue may not be understood yet and an accurate reading may never be achieved. Now add all of this to a child that is not feeling well and it is virtually impossible to get their temperature taken. This thermometer is a dream, check out of all the great options below and I'm sure you will agree.
Here are the key features of the No Touch Thermometer:
- Only thermometer to take touch and no-touch readings; same professional accuracy in both modes
- Easy to use with readings in less that 2 seconds
- Gentle LED light and On Screen indicators ensure proper placement
- Large, easy to read screen
- Color-Coded temperature guidance to track progression of fever
- Mute option for silent readings
- Suitable for infants, children and adults
