We were invited to Medieval Times by Jennifer from Balancing the Chaos for her Blogiversary Celebration! We made it a girls night out and we had such an awesome time. I love these kind of shows. It was a nice change without the kids as we had drinks at the bar before the show, talk to each other, and had fun cheering for our knight.
When you get there they provide you with a Knight to cheer for along with a crown. Our knight was the green knight! This was my first time cheering for this knight and I had hopes that he would win the tournament.
The meal consists of garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, herb-roasted potato, pastry and drinks. Note, there are also Vegetarian meals check out the video above to see what it looks like. As you know there are no utensils. You eat with your hands. It is always nice for me not having to cook dinner and the meal is so big that I always take leftovers home and I make enchiladas with the leftover chicken. Sorry there was no video of the soup as I forget and finished it before I could take video. It is that good.
When your knight wins they receive flowers from the princess. The knight then goes over to his area and throws the flowers to a fair lady in the crowd. This time the fair lady was Catheryn from Cleverly Catheryn.
Then after your meal and as you enjoy your pastry dessert as you watch the knights battle it out. I loved cheering for our knight. Unfortunately he did not win the tournament. Still it was a great show!
