Mimi’s, the popular neighborhood cafe offering French-inspired American comfort food did a contest recently. The contest was to develop Mimi’s next great entrée. What was the prize? A trip to France! There was over 175 recipes to choose from. The picture above is from Balancing the Chaos which shows the winner, Honey Lavender Grilled Pork Chop. I think Mimi's made the right choice for the fall season.
What can you expect when you order the new Honey Lavender Grilled Pork Chop? A Center-Cut Pork Chop lightly glazed with honey, herbs de Provence and lavender. Paired with a mixed green salad with green apples, cranberries, goat cheese, toasted walnuts, and roasted potato croutons tossed with balsamic dressing. Mouth watering yet?
Mimi's Cafe is sending me to taste this delicious Honey Lavender Grilled Pork Chop, but first I need to recover from my surgery. I love pork chops, but don't like cooking them myself since they never come out right.
Once I go to Mimi's Cafe I will update this post to show what I ate also there! I think I am going to try these Pumpkin Spice Muffins also!
