We were invited to Legoland to get a sneak peek at Ninjago World which opened May 5th! My kids love the show Ninjago and every time we have gone to Legoland we have passed by the area and they would ask me when it opens. They were so excited talking about which ninjago characters they were. My oldest likes Jay (blue) and my youngest likes Kai (red) who is kind of like him when I think about it.
If you saw the FB Live post you can see where the line starts for the ride and how long it could be. Determine yourself if your kids are going to be willing to wait if you see the line outside the building. Inside there is a room that has multiple screens that will show you each character and will also you how to work the ride and throw fire bombs. Pay attention so that you can receive the highest score, yes I am competitive. I had to put my competitive aside so that I can get this cool video for you guys. Watch the video to see if the ride is appropriate for your kids.
You get 3D glasses on the way through the line and if forget to pick up the glasses don't worry the attendant will have extra for you before you board. The boarding area is dark which scared my youngest, but he quickly got over it with the excitement of the ride. Before you board ask your kids which character or color they want so they can sit in that spot. A quick note that their is no minimum height requirement and there are four spots per car.
TIP: When you get to Legoland you know how you can enter, but have to wait at a certain point on both sides? Well Ninjago World is at the waiting point. So when you enter head to the right and wait there to be one of the first to enter the ride.
At the end of the ride you see your final score and see how your rank against your competition.
Outside there are other activities such as Cole's Rock Climb, Kai's Spinners, Zane's Temple Build, and Jay's Lightning Drill. Also if you are hungry visit the Ninja Kitchen featuring Asian street food with Banh Mi sandwiches.
