FREE - Summer Nights in the Garden at Natural History Museum

NHM’s newest summer series takes you into the Nature Gardens, with activities around every corner that will awaken your senses. 

MUSIC:  KCRW DJ Anthony Valadez spins ambient tunes in the Nature Garden.

DRINKS:  Sip on a garden-inspired cocktail as you walk through the gardens.

FOOD:  Bring a picnic or enjoy a food truck!  Peaches Smokehouse, S’Cream Truck, CreativEats Truck, No Jodas Cuban Kitchen Truck 

PERFORMANCE:  Butterfly stilt performers and Toy Theater shows throughout the evening.

WORKSHOP:   Walk-up to learn about potting succulents with urban homesteading experts Erik Knutzen and Kelly Coyne. 

PAINTING:  Artist Peter Tigler leads a participatory image-making project that’s part fingerpainting, part color-by-number. 

NATURE MAPPING:  Become a citizen scientist and help us map nature in urban L.A.

TOURS:  Take a botanical tour of the Nature Gardens led by NHM staff.
