The Annual Duck-A-Thon™
The actual Duck-A-Thon™ takes place all day Saturday & Sunday. Vendors line Huntington Beach Pier Plaza to sell arts & crafts, yummy treats, home décor, jewelry and much more.
A larger – than – life Kid Zone includes bounce houses, retired rubber duck decorating, games, a toddler’s zone and prizes!
You can help support the health of your community! Buy a Duck! You get to name your duck and wish it well, before it is tossed off the Huntington Beach Pier with 4,000 friends, into the waves to race to the shore in the surf.
On Saturday, over 4,000 baby duckies (the traditional size rubber duck) turn the tides yellow as they race to dry land! The first 60 baby ducks to shore win their owners a prize. “Circus Clown” ducks win their owners two prizes!
On Sunday, Corporate ducks compete for the coveted Golden Duck Traveling Trophy. Corporate ducks are larger rubber ducks and there is only one winner in this race.
The largest pet expo returns to Orange County. With animals including dogs, cats, birds, fish, llamas, pot-bellied pigs, goats, rats, reptiles, rabbits, and miniature horses. There will be stage shows, competitions & demonstrations.
Just know that your pets are not allowed to attend.

SANTA ANITA INFIELD'S FAMILY FUN ZONE
Family Fun Zone features an infield full of activities for your little jockeys to enjoy, from inflatable jumpers, face painting and carnival games to pony rides, a chance to meet Seabiscuit and the Santa Anita Playground. Plus, you enjoy an exciting day of racing as the horses run around you.
The Queen Mary will be the site once again for the 4th annual CHILL! Welcoming back Glacier Glide Ice Tubing with six lanes of glistening ice slides that stand two stories tall and 100-feet long in front of the Ice Kingdom. Ice skate under the stars on the 6,000 square-foot ice skating rink with the backdrop of the picturesque Queen Mary ship. A holiday village will offer visits with Santa Claus, holiday carolers, snow days and live festive entertainment.
Fall is a time of harvest and festivities for the people of Southern California. Acorns from the live oak (Quercus agrifolia) were traditionally an important and major food source. Native American dancers, singers, and tribal leaders join us to celebrate our connections with California native plants. There will also be an artisans' marketplace.

A Faery Hunt's Fairy Halloween Party
If you're looking for a gentler alternative to the usual Halloween activities, come and celebrate Halloween with the Faery Folk from A Faery Hunt. Halloween is one of the fairies' favorite holidays! There will be a treasure hunt, circle time with the fairies, dancing, fairy face painting, snacks, frolic and lots of fun. Groups and birthdays are welcome.

Old Fort MacArthur Days atThe Fort MacArthur Museum
Welcome to the home page of the west's largest continually running re-enactment and living history timeline event! For more than twenty years now the Fort MacArthur Museum has sponsored what has turned into the west's largest multicultural celebration of world military history. What began as a small gathering of cannon enthusiasts has blossomed into a truly spectacular event showcasing the history of military activity from around the world and across time.
The hours of this years show are 10am–4pm both days. Tickets cost $10.00 per person and benefit the restoration, preservation, and education programs of the Fort MacArthur Museum. Tickets can be purchased at the front gate to the museum beginning at 10:00am on both days and as always parking is free. Food and drinks will also be available at an additional charge.

Spend a day filled with sunshine, laughter, music and community at the Live Oak Music Festival, held Father’s Day weekend, June 13-15. Head to the beautiful Santa Ynez Mountains for Friday, Saturday, Sunday or the entire weekend to enjoy live music, fun activities and entertainment for adults and kids of all ages. For those who want to stay awhile, camping passes are available (camping passes often sell out, so pre-purchase is recommended).
Held at the shade-covered Live Oak Camp—a short drive from lodging in Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez and Solvang for the non-camping types—the Father's Day weekend event offers up a fun-filled, unforgettable experience.
With as many as 14 live performances each day, musical acts from an array of genres will perform on three separate stages throughout each day—from 2:00 p.m. to midnight on Friday; 8:00 a.m. to midnight on Saturday; and 8:00 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. on Sunday—providing day-pass guests and campers with every opportunity to dance, clap and sway to the beat.
Kids will be well entertained with arts and crafts, puppet shows, a talent show and more.
Day-trippers need not worry about packing food as the food court offers a feast of Greek, Indian, Chinese and Thai cuisine, southern specialties, pizza, vegetarian and vegan dishes, smoothies, coffee, kettle corn, and popsicles, to name a few choices available for purchase.

The Stroll N Run is a 5K is a family-friendly run / walk on Sunday May 31st. Located at the picturesque South Coast Botanic Gardens, the StrollnRun is designed just for families with kids of any age (expectant parents welcome too!).
Kicking off at 9 am, the post-race activities include three musical performers including Baila Baila and Love Bug and Me. Fun and interactive activity course awaits your kids along with incredible healthy food and drinks like the refreshing Essentia Water, Suja Juice and Fresh Brothers pizza.
Presented by BOB Gear, there will be a run stroller obstacle course along with ample opportunities to win a stroller. Strollers optional; baby carriers and push cars are also welcome for walkers.
