Can you believe that Ghost Town at Knott's is coming back this year! I am so happy! We loved it last year when they celebrated Ghost Town 75th Anniversary. It was a hit with our family. My family and I were recently invited to take part of interactive experience, Ghost Town Alive! It was fun taking part of the town and being able to explore inside the normally closed doors of Calico.
If you know Knott's they love their Halloween! We have done Knott's Scary Farm and can't wait for the kids to get older to experience that, but since they are too young still we love that Knott's has a family friendly alternative. Knotts Spooky Farm is great for the whole family. If your kids want to dress up they can and they enjoy the park for the day with all the Halloween fun events. Knott's Spooky Farm is happening only on the weekend of October.
It's that time of year again! Knott's Scary Farm is open now selected nights through Halloween. I can't believe it has been around for over 40 years! I was invited to attend the opening night and I think Knott's Scary Farm is the perfect place for a date night with your spouse. Why? Well let me give you these reasons plus tips below on how to make the most out of your night!

Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant has been one of my favorite restaurants in Southern California since I was a little girl. I crave the fried chicken and biscuits. I was so excited to be invited to check out the complete renovation of the restaurant. It is nice that they added a text message option for wait times so that you can shop at the marketplace as you wait to be seated. The room pictured above was one of my favorites remodeled with a look inspired by Mrs. Knott's kitchen pantry. This room is for large parties and evokes warmth, family, and togetherness.
As someone who has lost friends and family members to breast cancer I love supporting Knott's Berry Farm for the Cure event. As you walk into Knott's you are greeted with everything pink! Stories of survivors and fighters of Breast Cancer. When you purchase your discounted pink ticket at Knotts a portion will go to the Susan G Komen of Orange County. The "Pink Ticket" and limited edition of "pink" t-shirt is available from now through March 18th.
The haunt is on! Knott's Scary Farm is better than ever this year with new mazes and the return of the very popular interactive Special Ops: Infected- Patient Zero. We attended the opening night and experienced it all. We made it out with only a few scratches....I'm sure we will be fine, right?
